Author Guidelines

JISBI accepts scientific manuscripts in the fields of Information Systems, Informatics, Digital Technology, Business Management, and Business Intelligence. Submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.

1. General Requirements

  • The article must be academically sound and aligned with the focus and scope of the journal.

  • Types of manuscripts accepted: empirical research, case/industry-based studies, system development papers, and conceptual/literature reviews.

  • Manuscripts may be written in either Bahasa Indonesia or English, while abstract must be bilingual (EN & ID).

  • Submission is conducted through the Open Journal System (OJS).

2. Manuscript Format

  • Layout: single column, A4 size.

  • Font: Times New Roman / Cambria (11–12 pt).

  • Spacing: 1.15 – 1.5.

  • Margin: 2.5 cm.

  • Recommended length: 6,000 – 8,500 words.

  • The official journal template must be used.

3. Manuscript Structure

  • Author(s) and Affiliation

  • Abstract (Bahasa Indonesia & English)

  • Keywords

  • Introduction

  • Literature Review / Theoretical Background

  • Research Method / Methodology

  • Results and Discussion

  • Conclusion

  • Acknowledgment (optional)

  • References

4. Citation Style

  • JISBI uses APA 7th Edition.

  • Authors are encouraged to use a citation manager (Mendeley, Zotero).

  • At least 60% of references must be from recent journal publications (last 5 years).

5. Publication Ethics

  • Plagiarism check is mandatory.

  • Maximum similarity threshold: 25%.

  • The journal applies a double-blind peer review mechanism.
